Back to school

At the start of every year I like to get to know the kids as soon as possible.  I send out a post card or a letter as soon as I find out who is going to be in my classroom.

I also have some communication pieces that I give out at our back to school night.  I have a packet of classroom information that I give to the parents and a bag of "goodies' for the kids to take home with them.

Here are some samples of what will be going home at the beginning of the school year!

  2. I LOVE your letters that you have made for back to school! I have just gotten my first teaching job and these will be very helpful! I was reading over your letter to families and I just wanted to let you know it says fell instead of feel. I am someone who ALWAYS makes those mistakes and just wanted to let you know! Thanks again for all the lovely ideas! :)

  4. Your B2S postcard is perfect for a beach themed classroom! I have always used Dollar Store ones in the past but would love to use themed ones. Would you mind sharing your file?
